The harder half is what an advisor is not allowed to write. Base44's row-level rules are per row, not per field, so anyone who owns their profile row can set any field on it from a browser console. Everything that decides money or access — subscription state, comped status, the packs bolt-on, the referral ledger, bank details, the public slug registry — lives on admin-locked rows only service-role functions touch.

What makes it work

Entitlement is a second, admin-only row holding the facts the delivery gate actually checks, because setting billing_exempt from a browser console would otherwise hand out the product forever
Stripe webhook rows are claimed before the work and settled after it, so an event is never acknowledged as a duplicate until its side effects have landed
Referral commission is an immutable ledger keyed on the Stripe invoice id — 20% of what was actually paid, withdrawable after a 30-day hold, and refunds set reversed rather than deleting the row
