The real work is in the enquiry path: a lead that never arrives is a lead nobody knows to chase.

What makes it work
- Enquiries are written to a localStorage queue before they are sent — five attempts, 30s doubling to eight minutes, and a 15s stale guard so a retry cannot race the submission still in flight
- A failed forward alarms in two layers and never throws: central reporter first, direct email second, because the Enquiry writeback is the last remaining copy of the lead
- AuditEvent's row rules set update and delete to false outright — append-only in the schema, not in a convention someone has to remember
