This is the job I actually do, not a case study I read.

I walk through the operating standard I wrote for them, the approval gates, and the places where a person still has to sign. None of it is a pilot. It has been running my companies for long enough to have broken a few times.
Every agent I run started as something I did by hand.
I take one from that first manual version through to live, with the review step and the spend cap that keep it honest. Then I go through the ones that failed, and why. That second half is the useful half, and it is the half nobody puts on a stage.

Buying something that already works usually beats a year of building it. I explain how I look at a small business, what I pay attention to first, and what makes me walk away. I also name the ones I should have walked away from and did not.

I show the stack, the guardrails, and the review that stops bad code reaching anyone. This one works best as a workshop, because the room stops listening and starts building about twenty minutes in.
Boards do not ask about models.
They ask who is accountable when it gets something wrong, and whether that is written down anywhere. They ask what happens if one vendor changes its terms. I take those questions one at a time and give the answer I use in my own businesses. This is not legal advice and I say so on the day.

The form below asks for the date, the format, who is in the room, how many of them there are, and what they should be able to do afterwards. It also asks when you need an answer, so you set the clock rather than waiting on mine.
I take a small number of dates a year. If it is not a fit I say so and tell you why, so you can go and book somebody better suited rather than chasing me.
A short call with whoever is running the event. What the audience came for, what has already been said from that stage, and the one thing you want them doing differently on Monday.
Not a deck I reuse. If your organisation needs slides signed off, you have them 48 hours ahead.

I stay for the session after mine and for the coffee. Most of the useful conversations happen there rather than on the stage.
